Takeda Hishi 武田菱

This is the badge of the Takeda clan in Japan. It is also the logo of Daitoryu Aikijujutsu because it is believed that the founder Yoshimitsu lived in a mansion called "Daito" when he was young.

Ono-ha Itto-ryu 小野派一刀流

Literally "Ono style one knife school", this is a traditonal kenjutsu (sword skill) school. Daitoryu Aikijujutsu does not include any weapons originally, but the founder's son, Takeda Tokimune, incorporated Ono-ha Itto-ryu into the curriculum.

Hakkoryu Jujutsu 八光流柔術

This is a school of grappling art that stems from Daitoryu. It focuses on inflicting pain on pressure points without seriously injuring the body.

Aikido 合気道

This is a soft martial art founded by Takeda Sokaku's student Morihei Ueshiba. The goal of Aikido is to defend yourself while also protecting the attacker from injury.

Hapkido 합기도

This is a hybrid martial art founded by Takeda Sokaku's student Choi Yong-sool. It incorporates techniques from various martial arts such as Taekwondo and Tang Soo Doo.
